From the logbook
Six yellowtail between four of us and the skipper knew exactly where to go when the first spot went quiet. Bacon rolls at dawn off Cape Point is a core memory now.
Two kids under ten, both caught fish, nobody was sick, and the crew were patient with a hundred questions about seals. Perfect three hours.
Flew in for this. 32 kg yellowfin on stand-up gear. The boat is properly equipped and the skipper called the weather window to the hour. Best day of the trip.
